This position will entail coordinating medium to large-sized translation/localization and interpretation projects from our operational center based in BA. Project planning, execution and control includes extensive scheduling and management of freelance and in-house contractors, providing support to operations, as well as managing fees, quality, and timeliness of deliverables.
Responsibilities
• Manage freelance contractors for a specific project: oversee resource selection/allocation, accounting, testing, quality assurance, and timely delivery of projects
• Transferring of electronic files in a variety of formats via the Internet to and from freelance translators and internal clients
• Improve overall operations process and work flow
• Research and help to grow and develop existing database of freelance contractors
• Negotiate contracts with freelance resources, provide quotes and prepare proposals, provide internal client support throughout the duration of the project
Skills and Experience required
• Minimum two (2) years experience in project management
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Fluency in English is a must
• Bachelor degree (Translation-IT)
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
